General terms and conditions of sale of DC Hotels
Conditions and details:

  • Best price guarantee and no reservation costs: there is a tourist tax in all hotels.

Article 1.

Subject to special written provisions from an authorized person, the current general terms and conditions apply to all commitments of Hotelbos NV. These conditions are stated on the website www.dchotel.be. As a result, they have been brought to the knowledge sufficiently. The tacit acceptance is evident from the visit to our premises or the receipt of our documents or services.

Article 2.

The performance and rates are freely determined by the Management, which reserves the right to change them.

Article 3.

An invoice will only be sent to the customer if he requests this, except in cases where the issue of an invoice is required by law. The price is payable in cash, net and without reduction. In the event of non-payment, the price will be automatically increased with delay interest at the conventional interest rate of 12% and with a lump-sum compensation of 10% with a minimum of 75 euros and a maximum of 1,500 euros per collection. Moreover, any late payment of a single invoice from Hotelbos NV makes it possible to suspend all services of whatever nature that are still ongoing. If necessary, Hotelbos NV can invoke the right to dissolution. These decisions can be made by operation of law and without notice of default. All goods from the hotel guest who are in the hotel are retained as further guarantees for the payment of the amounts due. Every complaint about the quality of services enjoyed must be formulated within 3 days after delivery. Any complaints about the correctness of the invoice must be formulated in writing within 7 days after the invoice has been sent. 

Article 4.

Hotelbos NV, if they so wish, must by law and without justification have to submit every acceptance of an order, every reservation or every performance to be delivered or to be submitted to the full or partial payment of the amounts that are or will be due to it. even in the form of an advance payment, an abbreviation or a full arrangement, they themselves become anticipative.

Article 5.

The hotel is entitled to collect any damage or theft caused by the customer with the credit card provided by the customer for an amount corresponding to the damage.

Article 6.

Every dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the court in Brussels and, unless otherwise stipulated by law, Belgian law will apply. We reserve the right to waive this clause upon collection.

Standard price (excluding breakfast):

Free cancellation until 6 pm on the day of arrival.
No payment needed today. You only pay during your stay.
Credit card only as a guarantee.
Plans changed? In case of cancellation, change or if you do not show up (no show) after 6 pm on the day of arrival, the first night of the reservation will be charged.

Free cancellation until 6 pm on the day of arrival.
No payment needed today. You only pay during your stay.

Prepaid:

Reserve the best rate online - only available here.
Non-refundable: in case of cancellation, change or if you do not show up (no show), the full amount will be charged.
Prepayment: at any time after you have booked, the full amount of the reservation can be charged. The hotel reserves the right to cancel your reservation if your credit card does not work.

Article 8 - Payment and cancellation conditions for groups:

50% of the total amount must be paid between 3-4 weeks before the arrival of the group.

100% of the total amount must be paid 3 days before the arrival of the group.

Article 9

The customer will provide a credit card upon check-in, the details of which will be taken by the relevant DC Hotel. If the customer does not make the payment within the agreed period, or uses facilities (eg bar, restaurant, etc.) that are not indicated at check-out, the hotel will have the right to deduct this via credit card , on the sole condition that the detail of the statement is delivered to the customer, either electronically or by post. In any case, the customer must protest the payment made in writing within 8 days if he thinks it was not done correctly.

Payment terms for companies with a corporate contract:

The payment period for an invoice sent by DC Hotel is 15 calendar days from the day on which the invoice was sent.

Department international Flanders
The Department of International Flanders is the competent authority that grants the permit and where further information can be obtained about the regulations concerning the operation of tourist accommodation and the legal remedies that are generally available in disputes and where the tourist can submit a complaint.
